I think there is a special bond between all runners who have ever been injured. Like we all have felt the pain of not being able to run due to injury and understand each other in a way that others do not

except yesterday I played a whole game of rugby at full back despite being pretty sick and feverish and then started crying and collapsed as soon as the game was over I was so tired. I’ve never been so tired.
